Neil Umhafer

Co-Founder, Chairman and CEO

Mr. Umhafer has been in the financial services business for 30 years.  For the past ten years he has been the President of The Seacris Group, Ltd., a corporate financial advisory concern. Previously he was a Senior Executive and a member of the Board of Directors at ORIX Credit Alliance, Inc., a $2 billion commercial finance company.  Mr. Umhafer also held several senior managerial positions with European American Bank, a major New York City Bank.  He has been directly involved in hundreds of millions of dollars of financial transactions, as a principal, intermediary and advisor.  Mr. Umhafer holds a B.B.A. degree and M.S. in Banking and Money Management from Adelphi University.  He also completed the Graduate School of Credit and Financial Management Program at Williams College.

 

Krista Kersey

Co-Founder and Senior Managing Director

Ms. Kersey has been in the financial services business for 15 years.  For the past seven years she formulated an NASD member Broker-Dealer firm, and was President and Principal of Kersey, Scillia, Forster & Brooks, Inc., a firm specializing in investment banking activities. Previously she was with Merrill Lynch, specializing in all aspects of financial planning.  Ms. Kersey has been directly involved in public and private transactions involving multi-million dollar capital raises, restructures, mergers, acquisitions and advisory services.  She holds a B.B.A. degree in Finance and Marketing from Florida Atlantic University.

 

George Stamas

Managing Director

Mr. Stamas has been in the financial services business for 30 years.   Prior to moving to Florida in mid-2005, he served in New York as a Managing Director of Moore, Clayton & Co., an international merchant bank with principal offices in London.  Mr. Stamas had previously held management positions in the corporate finance departments of several large international banks, the most recent with Swiss Bank Corporation in New York where he was a department head in the merchant banking division in charge of relationships with technology companies in the northeast U.S.  He has been directly involved in tens of millions of dollars of financing transactions.  Mr. Stamas has also been a principal in an electronic trading company, and an instructor-led training company where he affected a turn around within three years before selling his interest.  He is a former naval officer, and holds a Masters of Management degree from the Kellogg School at Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Washington & Lee University.  Mr. Stamas is presently an Adjunct Instructor of Banking and Finance at Northwood University in West Palm Beach, Florida.
